It was wonderful having The Parker Project organize and the Best Friends Animal Society sponsor a Spay, Neuter, and Vaccine Clinic here at Hidden Springs. These services are much needed for our communities so we are thankful for both of these organizations. They successfully altered 128 pets, vaccinated 123 animals, and performed an average of 20 wellness exams over three days.
We are grateful for these low/no cost services, and we are excited to have the ability to host them here.
We had an amazing time taking 30 students to our Winter Blast: a middle & high school event. We had a youth night (games, prizes, and worship) followed by a day of skiing and snowboarding courtesy of Arizona Snowbowl. This company graciously donated free lessons, equipment, and lift tickets for our skiers/snowboarders!
We always love having LOVE MISSIONS & PBA CMGlobal with us! They brought a team of 25 students + board members who had the biggest hearts ready to serve for nine days on the Navajo Reservation.
They had a busy week loving our community with the following…
- Kids Bible Club
- Food Distribution
- Ladies Pamper Night
- Vet Clinic Outreach
We are continuing to plan two VBSs this summer – one hosted by HSM and Hidden Springs Bible Church & one hosted by First Church Ministries. We know that VBSs, summer camps, winter retreats, mission trips, ski weekends, camping excursions, etc. have such a positive impact on young people. Thank you for praying for us as we continue planning & budgeting for these events!
Finally – thank you so much for praying for my dad while he had open heart surgery and as he continues to recover & gain his strength. We appreciate your love + care for our family, our extended family, and our community!
