December 2021: Essential Resources
We have been serving in this community for 3.5 years and are learning & growing so much. God has been faithful in leading us here and sustaining us thus far. We are confident that he has put us in a unique place to continue to expand & grow our ministry in 2022.

We believe that God is calling us to a deeper investment of our time & energy in order to build critical systems that are a crucial next step in our community’s mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
In 2022, we have goals to:
- finish the bunkhouse.
- install a pavilion.
- build a basketball court.
- continue the water project on site.
- and more!
To make that happen, we need your help! Our goal is to raise $25,000 between now and the end of the year.
For next few weeks, as we dive headfirst into 2022 – we will be sharing a bit about our community.
As you listen to these stories and consider your end of year giving – we humbly invite you to join us financially as we look towards bringing essential resources to the Reservation.
We couldn’t have imagined the relationships that would be built when 18-year old Bill came out to Hidden Springs more than 25 years ago. We met a family of six siblings on one of these mission trips. Over time, we’ve been able to watch this family grow and be a part of their lives whenever we came out to the Reservation.
We tragically lost one sibling in a car accident several years ago. During that time, Bill shared:
“Our hearts are broken over this loss. She was a beautiful woman who had extraordinary strength within. Her creativity, veracity, and authenticity always stood out to me. She was loved, prayed for, and thought of by so many from her Virginia family. There are no words that can express how we feel or dampen the hurt inside. The only words that have been coming to mind recently are the ones from Jesus in John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
We love you. We miss you. We are so thankful that a group of crazy Virginians got the amazing opportunity to meet you, come to know you, and love you through all these years.”
Bill was honored and humbled to be able to walk through this tragedy with the family.
Five years later, we were able to celebrate the marriage of another sibling during one of our summer mission trips. Bill was asked to perform the wedding ceremony, and it was such a GREAT day!
What a gift it is to be invited into someone’s life – to walk through the sad times and celebrate the joyous ones.
To be seen.
To be known.
To be loved.
It’s what all of our souls crave.
This Christmas season, we invite you to invest in God’s work here on the Reservation. As we look towards bringing essential resources to the community, our goal is to raise $25,000 between now and the end of the year.
