JULY 2020
Will I say it’s been a whirlwind every time?
Probably…
The past two years have been quite the combination of crazy, hard, and amazing all at the same time.
Our first few months were a huge adjustment: Bill jumping right into work, the girls getting settled into four new schools, me trying to figure out where to find the best coffee + how often I needed to go into town to do laundry until our washer + dryer were connected {the answer is around 4-6 loads twice a week}.
As we continued to figure out every day life alongside our nonprofit work, 2020 arrived.
• We are seeing great loss + suffering in our community on the Navajo Reservation.
• We are sharing a lot of hurt and pain with friends & family – both near + far.
• Our relationships with God, the strength of our marriage, and the dynamics of our family unit have been tested time & time again.
The Navajo Reservation continues to have a daily curfew + a weekend lockdown. We miss our friends & community so much.
We are now embarking on somewhat of a new season:
Bill is finishing up licensure work & returns to the classroom next week. The girls are preparing for virtual learning beginning August 10th. We’re continuing to trust God through the new, the difficult, and the unknown.
I will always be so proud of this guy + our girls. They have my whole heart – even though we’ve been together nonstop since mid-March – haha…
So many thanks to all of you who continue to be there for us since we left VA in 2018. Love you always.
I’m SO thankful for our people.
Year T H R E E – we’re comin for ya!…
The Lord the Lord is my rock my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
